The band were one of the smartest and well turned out that I have had the pleasure of working with

The Royal Scots Association Pipe Band performed for our client’s Retreat at Gleneagles in September 2009. Their organisation was very impressive and the band organisers were extremely helpful and patient with our requirements. Despite the keen wind on the evening, their performance was memorable for the international corporate party and even some of the hotel guests insisted on having their photos taken with some of the musicians afterwards. The band were one of the smartest and well turned out that I have had the pleasure of working with, and their performance of Lowering the Flag was moving. We will be sure to use the band again for some of our clients. Many thanks.

At The Royal Highland Show we only book the best Pipe Bands

At The Royal Highland Show we only book the best Pipe Bands. I think the fact that The Royal Scots Association Pipes & Drums have played at the show 3 times in recent years speaks for itself. We will, of course, be booking them again in the future. Many thanks.

The Band created a fantastic atmosphere at dusk

Another wonderful performance by the Royal Scots Association Pipe Band at The Old College Quadrangle, University of Edinburgh. The Band created a fantastic atmosphere at dusk with their Beating Retreat ceremony, and its conclusion was incredibly moving as the superbly presented Colour Party lowered the Regimental Standards to the strains of the lone piper. We saw tears in the eyes of international Delegates!

Our Delegates from 38 countries including the USA, China and Japan, returned home with memories of a truly outstanding performance, and relished the opportunity to mix with band members afterward and have photo opportunities! Delegates comment that it was the highlight of the Conference. We look forward to welcoming the pipe band back to the next Conference.

Thank you for helping to make Zara’s and Mike’s wedding such a success

The Princess Royal has asked me to thank you for helping to make Zara’s and Mike’s wedding such a success.

For Her Royal Highness to arrive at Holyrood Palace and hear your superb playing was a great pleasure. All the guests were delighted to hear the music and watch the Band, and it set the scene for a wonderful evening.

The Band was a request that Zara personally wanted and she was thrilled.

Your wee turn went down a storm with our guests

I wanted to thank you and your colleagues for all your help last Wednesday evening. You might not have known, as you would have departed the auditorium by then, but your wee turn went down a storm with our guests.

I also wanted to add my personal thanks, as not only was the playing fantastic, but I found yourself and your colleagues most professional and accommodating – and your support with the address to the haggis was much appreciated!
